Meet our Family
As parents of a large blended family, Mark and Kendra live in Lumberton, NJ, with 6 of their 7 children. The youngest daughter is in high school, four children are in college, and two have graduated college and started their careers. It is a busy household with children attending school in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Since the kids are coming and going during holiday and summer breaks, Mark and Kendra prioritize planning vacations with a goal of showing the family different parts of the country and world and ensuring time together.
Mark and Kendra also love planning their own vacations, visiting National Parks, taking cruises and making the most of extended weekends by combining their outdoor adventures with wineries, breweries and distilleries. They enjoy finding unique trails to hike using All Trails, exploring sites in different cities and sampling cuisine specific to the regions they visit.
Mark
Mark grew up in Kent, WA, just south of Seattle, where he developed a love of being outdoors and hiking. He attended the University of Notre Dame and earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering. Mark has lived in New Jersey for 27 years and is a Lead Systems Engineer in the Defense Sector.
Kendra
Kendra was raised in Clarksville, MD, in-between Baltimore and Washington, DC, and she developed a passion for hiking and travel while attending Virginia Tech where she earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She has lived in Southern New Jersey for 23 years, and she is a Chief Engineer in the Defense Sector.
